Tapping Collar

F911

F911 is a connection sealing for the flexible connection of pipes to concrete manholes and for passing pipes through other types of concrete walls. The holes are drilled with a drill bit.
F911

Function
The external grooves are pressed against the wall of the drilled hole when the seal is put in place in the hole. The plastic support ring is tapped in using a rubber or plastic hammer. The pipe to be connected to the well is inserted through the connection part, which has three or four ledges (pipe penetrations) for different pipe dimensions. When one of the larger pipe penetrations is used, the redundant, smaller part of the connector is cut away. The connector is sealed to the pipe with a stainless steel hose clamp. The hose clamp supplied with the well connection covers all the pipe dimensions relevant to the connection.

Quality assurance
F911 meets the functional requirements of all current European standards.

SS-EN ISO 9001:2000
British Standard "Kitemark"
CE marking

Material
F911 is made of synthetic rubber (SBR/EPDM) with a hardness of 40 ± 5 IRHD. The material meets the requirements of the European standard EN 681-1. Some dimensions can also be supplied in nitrile rubber (NBR).

Labeling
Each sealing is labeled with the outer diameter and thickness, the outer diameter and bore diameter of the connecting pipe and the date of manufacture.

  1. Lubricate the drilled hole or prefabricated hole with a lubricant for rubber seals.
  2. Place the seal in the hole and knock it into position with a plastic or rubber mallet. Tap the end of the short plastic tube fitted in the seal.
  3. Decide on the size of the bushing to be used for the connecting pipe. Using a knife, cut away the part of the connection that is superfluous. Cut in the special groove provided on the seal, it facilitates the division.
  4. Apply a thin layer of F-lub over the rubber part. Assemble the pipe and put the hose clamp in place. Tighten the clamp so that the rubber is compressed against the pipe.

Frequently asked questions about sealings

It is important to note that the sealings are not intended to act as supports. The pipes must be supported on both sides of the seal.

W801, W803 and W804 are all tested for generous axial movements.

Many of our sealings protect against both radon and water. You can see from the labels on the products which ones protect against what.

Here is a link to all the data sheets we have: Data sheets

We have sealings in stock with a diameter of up to 1000 mm. We have the ability to build custom sealings and have supplied sealings up to 2000 mm diameter, but there are no limits to how large sealings we can make.

It is possible to install W802 on corrugated pipes provided that it lies on one or more of the tops of the pipe. Should there be very wide gaps on large pipes, it may be necessary to seal the gap in the corrugation before installing the seal.

W802 is included in the House Product Portal and is therefore approved for Nordic Swan Ecolabel projects. These types of sealings cannot be Nordic Swan Ecolabeled and this also applies to competitors' products. But if they are included in the House Product Portal, it works.

W801, W802, Link Seal, Compact and Nofirno are all approved radon sealings.
